As a part of capacity building activities, a study tour based on a modular curricula system, was organized in October 2003 in Amman for the fifteen Ministry staff from the West Bank, who will become trainers. The study tour aimed at enhancing the capacity of the participants to design TVET curricula on the bases of competency based MES concept and approach. The necessary office equipment related to the general TVET activities was also provided to the Ministry. The workshops on the modular system of the TVET curricula are being conducted within the Palestinian Territories to enhance the capacity of the participants to design TVET curricula on the bases of competency based MES concept and approach. A new module on "Mechatronics" is being prepared and piloted in Ramallah.
